ROLEPLAY
WITH PURPOSE.

Know the standards. Respect the people. Protect the story.

LAST REVIEWEDJULY 2026SECTIONS08

These rules protect serious, collaborative roleplay. Staff may use judgment where a situation is not covered word-for-word.

01
SECTION

Core Roleplay

The standards every player follows in every scene.

01.01

Stay in character

Remain in character while actively involved in roleplay. Use approved out-of-character channels only when necessary, and never use OOC arguments to derail a scene.

01.02

Value your life

Treat your character's life as valuable. Respond realistically to danger, injuries, weapons, overwhelming numbers, and situations where escape is not reasonable.

01.03

No powergaming

Do not force actions, abuse mechanics, or create impossible advantages that remove another player's ability to respond.

01.04

No metagaming

Information learned through Discord, streams, outside chats, or another character cannot be used in character unless your current character learned it naturally.

01.05

Protect the story

Play to create memorable scenes, not only to win. Give others room to react, communicate intent when needed, and accept reasonable consequences.

02
SECTION

Community Conduct

Respect the people behind every character.

02.01

Respect every player

Harassment, hate speech, discriminatory behavior, targeted toxicity, or personal attacks are not accepted in game or community spaces.

02.02

No exploiting or cheating

Do not use exploits, macros, external tools, mod menus, or unintended mechanics. Report vulnerabilities privately instead of demonstrating or sharing them.

02.03

No combat logging

Do not disconnect to avoid an active scene, arrest, injury, robbery, or consequence. If you crash, return and contact the involved players or staff.

02.04

Staff interactions

Follow staff direction during moderation. Disputes belong in tickets or appeals, never in the middle of active roleplay.

03
SECTION

Characters & Memory

Build believable people with separate lives and information.

03.01

Character separation

Your characters cannot share knowledge, money, property, relationships, or grudges unless an approved system explicitly allows it.

03.02

New Life Rule

After a full character death or hospital respawn, forget the immediate circumstances leading to incapacitation. Do not return to the same conflict for revenge.

03.03

Names and identity

Use realistic names and concepts appropriate for serious roleplay. Impersonating public figures, staff, or another established character is not permitted.

03.04

Character death

Permanent character death should be intentional and story-driven. Staff may require confirmation for scenes that permanently remove another player's character.

04
SECTION

Crime & Conflict

Conflict should escalate naturally and leave room for response.

04.01

Initiation

Give clear verbal or visible initiation before violence whenever the scene allows. Participants must understand the threat and have a reasonable chance to respond.

04.02

Random violence

Random deathmatch, vehicle deathmatch, revenge killing without story, and violence without meaningful roleplay are prohibited.

04.03

Robberies

Robberies require roleplay purpose and reasonable demands. Do not repeatedly target the same person, empty new players, or treat every interaction as a loot opportunity.

04.04

Hostages

Hostages must be genuine participants, not friends volunteering only to bypass mechanics. Provide meaningful interaction and do not hold players longer than the scene requires.

04.05

Gang conflict

Territory and gang disputes need ongoing roleplay, escalation, and communication. Avoid endless shootouts, hospital camping, or attacking neutral areas without narrative cause.

05
SECTION

Police, EMS & Government

Public service roles carry extra responsibility.

05.01

Professional conduct

Government employees must follow department procedures and use their authority to support roleplay rather than dominate it.

05.02

Corruption

Police or government corruption requires prior staff approval and a documented storyline. Unapproved evidence tampering or equipment distribution is prohibited.

05.03

Medical roleplay

Respect EMS scenes and injury roleplay. Do not instantly resume intense activity after serious treatment, and provide truthful context when medically reasonable.

05.04

Police equipment

Restricted equipment, vehicles, and information cannot be transferred to civilian characters without an approved storyline.

06
SECTION

Vehicles & World

Drive and interact with the world like it matters.

06.01

Realistic driving

Drive in a way appropriate to your vehicle and situation. Extreme jumps, impossible terrain, and constant high-speed city driving without cause break immersion.

06.02

Vehicle attacks

Vehicles are not weapons unless an immediate scene makes contact unavoidable. Deliberately running players over to win a conflict is prohibited.

06.03

Safe and restricted areas

Do not abuse garages, interiors, hospitals, or protected zones to escape active roleplay. Restricted areas remain subject to posted city rules.

06.04

World interaction

Do not abuse NPCs, props, animations, or map boundaries to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt scenes.

07
SECTION

Businesses & Economy

Keep the player economy fair, active, and story-driven.

07.01

Business activity

Owners should keep businesses active, hire through roleplay, and avoid using company funds as a personal bank.

07.02

Scamming

In-character scams require meaningful roleplay and cannot exploit UI confusion, real-money purchases, account access, or new-player knowledge gaps.

07.03

Asset transfers

Large transfers between characters or players may require staff review. Do not use alternate characters to funnel money or bypass progression.

07.04

Real-money trading

Selling city currency, vehicles, items, accounts, or services outside approved Tebex packages is prohibited.

08
SECTION

Streaming & Content

Create content without compromising other players.

08.01

Stream sniping

Do not use a live broadcast to locate, track, identify, or gain information about another player.

08.02

Privacy and courtesy

Respect reasonable requests around sensitive content. Creators remain responsible for their chat and for protecting information visible on stream.

08.03

Reports and clips

Clips can support reports, but edited or misleading evidence may be rejected. Do not weaponize public clips to harass players outside the staff process.

NEED A RULING?

Ask before the scene.

If a rule feels unclear, open a Discord ticket. Staff would rather answer first than repair a broken story afterward.
